Welcome to the #FeatureFriday where we are

SHINING LIGHT

on some of the amazing women in our world!

We started our #FeatureFriday series to highlight some of the amazing women we are honored to know and want the world to know about them too!  Our feature this week is Dr. Jennifer Mercier founder of Mercier Therapy and Expect A Miracle!    I am so excited for you all to meet X and learn more about X!

Meet Dr. Jenny 🙂

Tell us a little about Expect A Miracle and your mission. How did you come up with the concept and how hard was it to get started?

Expect A Miracle is a Christ centered practice that serves, guides and supports women enduring fertility challenges, pelvic pain or trauma recovery.

I started my practice based upon the need for good pelvic organ care due to the lack in availability of other modalities. Most of the options for women are very medically based in which do not jive with all women’s philosophies for care. It was not difficult at all for me to start Expect A Miracle rather a logical and practical concept that I was easily able to integrate into my practice.

1. What was the moment you knew you wanted to do Expect A Miracle?

My diagnosis of severe stage 4 endometriosis started me on my path to discovering a valid and tangible methodology for remedying my own pelvic pain. When my conceptual idea of manipulating and isolating pelvic organs was working I knew that it was time to implement the therapy into practice.

2. What one Expect A Miracle post/project/moment are you the most proud of and why?

My most proud, favorite and profound moment was most recently when Food Matters TV released my film Fertility: The Shared Journey With Mercier Therapy to the world. The exposure has been invaluable. My dream is coming true as the word of my work is spreading far and wide. Now women will know that they have another option in their care plan for making a good decision concerning their fertility journey.

3. How would you describe a typical day? What’s your morning to evening routine?

I am a single mom so mornings can be busy and challenging. I hit the ground sprinting! First I make a school lunch for my daughter, make sure that I’ve fed both kids breakfast and get them both dressed. Than I hop into the shower and get myself ready for the day. Depending if it is an office day or not than both kids need to be dropped off at their respective schools. If I have patients scheduled I’ll grab a coffee on my way to the office. Once there it is non-stop. I so enjoy caring for women that it doesn’t feel like a “job.” When finished I go and pick up both of my children and head home to make dinner or just rest for a bit than go out for a bite. After dinner it’s time to do baths, brush teeth, read a story and hit the sack. I love being the primary parent for my children because I get to experience everything about their day. It is busy but worth it!

4. Describe yourself in 3 words?

Outgoing, compassionate, empathetic

5. What individuals, celebrities, entrepreneurs, public figures inspire you?
